Money
Many ancient civilizations used grain or metal in exchange for other goods. In ancient China and Africa seashells were used as currency. The earliest bankers were money landers. The first banks appeared in northern Italy 1400s. The first bank in United States was the Bank of North America, Philadelphia, which was given a charter or license to operate in 1781. The first coins were made around 600 B.C. India, Lydia(part of mordern Turkey), and China. Chinese issused world's first papermoney About A.D. 1024.
